Whose fence is it anyway?

What type of fencing and landscaping treatments have you requested from the City?
In speaking with Nick, most homes on Carolyn have opted for keeping the existing chain link fence. Some are adding a gate and using landscaping from the City side to address privacy concerns.
We are asking for an 8' closed-board wooden fence with a gate. In addition, City planned landscaping on the trail-side will help address our privacy and buffer concerns.
One neighbor plans to do the same treatment, but without a gate. Yet another is keeping the existing fence but asking for shrubs and tree landscaping to block clear views of their backyard.
I'm curious what others have chosen. Share your plans below!
I get this is not what many of us had wanted - the trail - but I do think engaging with the City will result in a better outcome. They can't read minds! Make your voice heard!
